The Fondation Tremblant supports a wide range of projects aimed at improving the well-being of children and families in the MRC des Laurentides. Each project category has a specific goal: to meet essential needs, support children’s personal and intellectual development, and provide them with the resources they need to thrive.

Essential needs

The essential needs category focuses on providing the basic necessities for children’s immediate well-being. These initiatives offer direct support to children and their families, helping to improve their daily lives.

Direct food assistance

Funding for the purchase of food supplies, support for community kitchens, and initiatives in food processing to address urgent nutritional needs.
Indirect food assistance – Logistical support and assistance for the transportation and storage of food supplies, as well as for maintaining food assistance services across the region.

Emergency fund for schools and organizations

Occasional support for schools and community organizations to help cover urgent needs such as food, school supplies, clothing, footwear, and other essential items.

Funding for services such as speech therapy, suicide and addiction prevention, grief counseling, stress management, and psychosocial support.

Support for children with special needs

Support for tailored programs such as art therapy, specialized classes for neurodivergent students, activities for children with disabilities, and other personalized services designed to meet each child’s unique needs.

Physical activity and personal development through play and movement are essential for the healthy growth of children. The Fondation Tremblant supports initiatives that promote an active lifestyle and social inclusion.

Sports and recreational activities

Donations for youth programs, sports events, and the purchase of necessary equipment.

Community events and family celebrations

Funding for celebrations such as Christmas parties, community gatherings, and family events — creating moments of joy, connection, and togetherness for children and their families.

Support staff for children with special needs

Funding for specialized support staff who accompany children with special needs during day camps and other group activities, helping to foster inclusion and participation for every child.

Day camp assistance for underprivileged children

Support for summer day camp programs that offer enriching experiences to children from low-income families.

Support for creative initiatives such as painting, music, and dance projects, as well as cultural exposure programs including theatre, concerts, and exhibitions — giving children the opportunity to express their creativity and explore diverse forms of art.
